Ledger WorkshopBookkeeping & TaxBack to the offer

Getting started

Set the scope.
Start the routine.

The robot does the bookkeeping. You review the results. Ledger Workshop is being built for daily accounting work in QuickBooks Online, following your agreed rules and flagging unresolved items. This is an automated service with customer review; it does not include a human bookkeeper or SAS review of your books.

  1. Tell us about your books

Send the application with your contact details, QuickBooks status and current needs. You can choose a plan interest, service interests and an email and report schedule. Transaction volume is optional context for planning; pricing follows robot capacity. After saving, the confirmation page gives you a request reference and next steps. No card or payment is required.

  2. Agree on the daily routine

Your application sets out your priorities, preferred robot capacity and reporting schedule. Before activation, we confirm pilot timing, supported tasks, coding rules, source records and the decisions reserved for you. Formal reconciliation follows complete statement periods. Additional payables, receivables, payroll or tax work needs its own agreed scope.

  3. Invite the accounting firm

After acceptance, we provide the verified invitation details for Simple Accounting Solutions, Ledger Workshop’s operating firm. A QuickBooks administrator can go to Settings → Manage users → Accountants or Accounting Firms → Invite firm. You keep your own login and control access. Wait for the confirmed invitation details before adding anyone.

  4. Set up context and communication

We confirm how to share receipts, business rules and supporting records, which financial reports to prepare, who should receive them and when. Choose daily, weekly, monthly or a schedule we agree together. We provide the appropriate email contact during onboarding; no financial documents or credentials belong in the intake form.

  5. Let the routine work, and send your feedback

The planned service runs agreed tasks in the background and checks saved results. The robot checks incoming instructions against your company, agreed scope and permissions. It asks for missing facts or required approvals before affected work proceeds. You receive summaries, questions and financial reports on the confirmed schedule. Email your instructions or concerns; you do not need to operate the robot or choose its tools.

  6. Review what the pilot proved

See completed work, saved results and unresolved items. A daily progress update does not establish that a period is reconciled or closed. Financial-statement preparation, when included, has its own agreed reporting terms. If continuing makes sense, you receive a separate paid offer. The free pilot never becomes a paid subscription automatically.
